Skin Textures for Daz3D Genesis 9 (Feminine), Setup with Redshift Render Material in Cinema 4D
Realistic skin material for Redshift render, showcased with the Daz3D base Genesis 9 model with feminine features. It's pretty difficult to dial in an effective skin shader in Redshift, and I hope this can help-not only with Daz characters-but any other model. This is set up with UDIMs (tiled UVs), so if you're using Daz, all of the skin is controlled by one material.
These textures can also be used w Genesis 9 in any other 3D software (Blender, Maya, Unreal, etc) and any other render engine.
The setup uses the new RS standard material, and included are custom maps for diffuse (8K), roughness (2K), spec (2k), coat (4k), normal (8K), and displacement (8K) maps, as well as adjustable SSS weight maps.
The maps can be used on any Daz Genesis 9 characters.
The redshift material can be used with any other set of textures and geo you might have that needs realistic skin settings.
Note: You'll probably have to relink the textures to their new location on your machine. Go to the Redshift asset manager, select all files, go to EDIT > Relink Files and navigate to the folder location.
These textures will not really match up with non Genesis 9 Daz characters.
